Get Started On Your Custom Bobble Head

STEP 1

1) The first step in getting started, is to place a prototype deposit of $500. This $500 is 100% credited back to you when you go in to production with an order of 500 pieces or more. It also gets you set up with a project manager who will walk you through the steps from concept to production. See below for more information on how to make this Payment.

2) The second step is to decide what type of base you would like your bobblehead to stand on. Some more complex bases have additional charges. You can see examples here: http://www.custommadefigurines.com/base_selection.php

3) You should decide how close you want us to come to the image you are providing. Some customers want it to look exactly like the image, and others want more of a caricature for their bobblehead.

4) You should jot down any other information or ideas and send them to your project manager once you have been introduced via e-mail.

== Project Outline ==
- I will be begin by preparing a sketch or a photo mock-up after I receive your deposit and you are set up in my Project Management System. I will send you the images by email.
- When you approve your sketches, I will start the "first carving". The first carving is for you to approve the shape, size and look of the bobblehead. It will be out of a clay material, so it will be all one color. I will send you a photo of the first carving by email.
- When you approve the first carving a mold will be made and I will cast a bobblehead for you. It will then be painted. You will receive a photo by email.
- When you approve the painted bobblehead, the prototype stage is completed. You can then decide how many you would like to order for production.

== Payment ==
At this point I require a $500 prototype deposit to get started. If you need to confirm some aspects of your image, this is the time to place your deposit so that I can focus on you. With orders of 500 pieces or more, our prototype deposit is 100% credited towards your production run, making your prototype free.
If you are getting more then one design made in to a prototype, the fee is $500 for the first prototype design, $500 for the second prototype design and $500 for each different design after that.

== Additional Charges ==
My company is a manufacturer. I can help with the design, but with a product that has never been made before there can be design elements which, when changed, may have unexpected results. Even with my vast experience, at times I cannot be sure of the outcome. I are happy making changes free of charge, but there may be additional fees of $150 or more, if new ideas are introduced in to the process after prototyping has started.
